Welcome to the Flores Hawk Eagles KG2CSO
My name is Colette Soerjomataram and I am the teacher for the Flores Hawk Eagle class. This is my second year teaching in BSJ. I started teaching Kindergarten in 2008 and have loved teaching ever since. In 2013, I completed my Masters in Education to further enhance my expertise in this area. Children are fascinating and they learn quickly in different ways, which is a joy to see.
We are lucky to be supported by Mrs Opi who has been at BSJ for seven years. She is really excited to be in Kindergarten as working with young learners has always been a passion of hers and she believes that the ability to share knowledge is a bit like having a superpower! In her spare time, she loves movies and spends time with her 12-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter.

Meet the Flores Hawk Eagle class!
There are 14 Flores Hawk-Eagles in our class. We aim to foster a love of learning, whilst having
lots of fun and creating a great foundation for the future.
TIMETABLE
MONDAY
Children to wear their PE kit to school.
TUESDAY
Children to bring a swimming kit containing swimming suit, goggles, flip flops, towel and a plastic bag for wet swimsuit.
THURSDAY
Children to bring in their library books in the book bag as we will be visiting the library on this day.
Children to bring their swimming kit if they would like to do splash and play
FRIDAY
Children to wear their PE kit to school.
Parent Liaison
Arham's Mother, Mrs. Hina Sufyan is our parent liaison for 2023-2024 academic year.
Daily Requirements
Please name ALL items that are sent into school. Your child needs:
- Full change of clothes kept in bag (including socks and underwear - this does not need to be uniform)
- Sun hat
- Washable water bottle
- A healthy snack or order via school cafeteria (No nuts are permitted at BSJ)
- Red BSJ book bag
- A school bag to store all belongings inside - big enough for lunch bag, swimming bag and book bag preferably to limit how much they must carry
